Allyn Svoboda

Studied electrical engineering and journalism & mass communication at Iowa State University, Ames IA.  Researched developing federal energy policy at Washington DC, summer 1977.  Coordinated residential energy conservation training and implementation for Iowa electric cooperatives utilities,1979 - 1980.  Relocated 1980 to Colorado, completed 34 years as distribution system engineer for electric cooperatives in 2014.  Relocated to Rico CO in 2016.  Goal for Rico geothermal research is to determine if the resource temperature may be adequate to generate electric power economically, combined with district heating.
