Declan Fielding

Declan first became aware of geothermal energy’s potentials while working on a grant proposal at the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (now EnergySense Resilience Center) in conjunction with local charity First Followers Re-Entry Program.

Declan grew up outside Chicago with a great appreciation for the Great Lakes. Upon seeing the landmark counterculture film Easy Rider, Declan purchased a gently used cargo van and dropped out of society, looking for adventure in whatever comes his way. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, skiing, paragliding, spearfishing, and volunteering for the local community.
