Fletcher Otwell

Fletcher Otwell grew up in Prescott, Arizona, and graduated from the Colorado School of Mines. He moved to Telluride in 2007 to build a life in the mountains and develop a career grounded in civil engineering, with further experience in land surveying, structural engineering, contracting, property management, mechanical system design and as a first responder on the gondola MARRS team since 2014. He and his wife built their home in Placerville focused on passive solar design and building science best practices to create comfortable, healthy indoor spaces.

In 2023, Fletcher founded Stellar Air, a community-minded business specializing in heat pumps and indoor air quality. He enjoys helping people better understand their homes and improve the experience of living indoors. Fletcher looks forward to helping Rico residents create a cozier, more affordable future by working together to responsibly harness the town’s unique geothermal resource..
